License types and pricing License types and pricing We offer several types of licensing for SketchUp, including; Classic License and Subscription. The Classic License creates a local license file which checks in with our server for authentication and can be one of 3 types; Single-user, Network and Enterprise.
The Subscription relies on a Trimble ID to sign in to the software and authenticate. Be sure to review the hardware requirements for SketchUp before purchasing.

Network Licenses 10 seat minimum initial purchase: A network license is not assigned to an individual user. The software can be installed on as many computers as you wish.
The license is stored in a Trimble-operated server in the cloud, and the software points to that license. A computer using a network license must be connected to the Internet to use the license.
Network licenses can be "checked out" for offline use for seven days, however. Adding Network seats and Enterprise-level solutions: Add seats to an existing Network license or obtaining purchasing information for large companies or organizations is available by contacting our SketchUp Pro Sales team. Subscription A subscription is a termed license type allowing a new method for managing expenses.
